2007 Commissioned new choral-orchestral score from composer Howard Goodall to be choreographed by Mark Baldwin for Rambert Dance Company, London Musici and the Choir of Christchurch Cathedral Choir, Oxford. 75 performances with choirs planned across the UK 2008-09.  Conducted the Orquestra Nacional do Porto at the Casa da Musica in February 2007 in works by Bernard Herrmann, Nuno Malo and Prokofiev.

2006 Debut with Hong Kong Ballet conducting 16 performances of The Nutcracker with The Hong Kong Sinfonietta. Engaged by the Philharmonia Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to conduct several programmes.

2005/06 Collaborated with BAFTA award winning animation director Suzie Templeton, producer Hugh Welchman and Breakthru Films on an animation film of Prokofiev's Peter & The Wolf for Channel Four Television. Conducted The Philharmonia at the screening premiere at The Royal Albert Hall in September 2006. The film has won international awards in Switzerland and France and live orchestra screenings are scheduled worldwide.

2004/05 Conducted Musici Nights concerts at Cadogan Hall, St John's Smith Square & Goldsmiths' Hall with soloists Delphine Gillot, Evelyn Glennie, Angelika Kirchschlager, Priya Mitchell, Iain Paterson, Patricia Rozario and Julian Lloyd Webber including works by R Strauss, Schnittke, Poulenc, Arnold, Britten and Shostakovich.

2003 Conducted the Kennedy Center Opera Orchestra in Washington DC for Houston Ballet and Paul Taylor Dance Company in works by Orff, Bach/Stokowski and Offenbach.

Directed the KPMG Music in the Community Awards.

2001 Conducted the Warsaw Philharmonic with soloist Chantal Juillet in works by Ravel and Andrzej Panufink.  In 2001, volunteered to visit Bosnia with members of the LSO and composer Nigel Osborne to help re-build the musical life of the war-torn city.

2000 Won a Creative Britons Award in recognition of his development of new audiences for classical music and his music education work. Invited to conduct London Musici to accompany Paul Taylor Dance Company at Sadler's Wells Theatre and conducted for them again in Washington DC and London in April and May 2003.Conducted Sinfonia Varsovia (Polish Chamber Orchestra) with soloists Andrzej Bauer and Andrew Marriner in works by Mozart and Panufnik.

1999 Conducted recordings with London Musici and soloist Inessa Galante on Campion label. Launched Live Music in Atria concerts in 25 corporate buildings, hospitals and shopping centres.

1998 Undertook a four-year residency at The London College of Music & Media at Thames Valley University with London Musici supported by The Paul Hamlyn Foundation and The Arts Council.  Commissioned a work for the Orquestra Nacional do Porto A Morte De Ines De Castro from the young Portuguese composer Nuno Malo, now a leading film music composer based in Hollywood.

1997 Conducted a unique performance with London Musici at the Royal Albert Hall, which was the culmination of an 18-month music education project in youth clubs across ten London boroughs.

1995 Conducted Music Song & Dance Concerts with London Musici at St John's, Smith Square and The London Coliseum including three newly commissioned ballet scores by Julian Anderson, Adam Gorb and Roxanna Panufnik and other works by Gruber, Henze and Mulldowney

1994-96 Music Director of Rambert Dance Company.

1993-95 Conducted regular concerts with the Orqestra Nacional do Porto, Portugal.1993 Conducted Sinfonia Varsovia (Polish Chamber Orchestra)

1992 Conducted the BBC Philharmonic with soloist Raphael Wallfisch in Christopher Steele's Cello Concerto.

1991 Conducted recordings with London Musici of music by Prokofiev and Ustvolskaya on Conifer label linked to concerts at St Martin's in the Fields. Commissioned new work from Sally Beamish. Invited to conduct London Musici in Warsaw by Polish Radio & TV in a memorial concert for Andrzej Panufnik.

1990 Conducted recordings with London Musici of music by Handel, Rossini, Mendelssohn and Vivaldi linked to concerts at St John's Smith Square.

1989 Conducted the Scottish Chamber Orchestra at the Warsaw Autumn Festival for a celebration concert to mark Panufnik's return to Poland after over 30 years’ exile. Conducted recordings with London Musici of music by Arnold and Panufnik on the Conifer label following London Musici's concert debut at St John's Smith Sqaure. Commissioned a Saxophone Concerto from Sir Richard Rodney Bennett.

1988 Following the orchestra's London concert debut a major recording contract was offered by Conifer Records (now Sony/BMG).

1988 With the support of leading musicians, including Vladimir Ashkenazy, he formed London Musici.

1986 Giuseppe Sinopoli invited him to conduct the Philharmonia at rehearsals in New York, Verona, Tokyo, Brussels, East Berlin, Munich and Zurich.
1979-1991 Cellist in The Philharmonia Orchestra, appointed by Maestro Riccardo Muti and principal players, who auditioned him at the age of 21.
